Building Accountability to Drive Continuous Improvement from IndustryWeek
Key elements that drive successful continuous improvement projects include having a solid technical solution.
Doug Wallace a Senior Consultant at Life Cycle Engineering recently published an article in Industry Week that discusses the importance of a sound change-management strategy to ensure success.
While 10% to 20% of the affected change population may be "early adopters" and support the change, there is typically another 10% to 20% that will be "resisters." The last group between the two poles are the "neutrals" with a wait-and-see attitude toward change.
The ultimate success of any change initiative lies in holding everyone accountable for doing their part in implementing the solution.
