A recent Law Technology News (LTN) article states that while the legal industry is facing some profound challenges, there has also never been a more exciting time to be a legal professional. The reason: technology changes everything. This includes issues ranging from data security to alternative fee arrangements and “…recognition on the part of the bar that law firms, if they want to succeed, can’t do business development as they’ve done in the past.” The article also points out that eDiscovery and litigation support have been ripe with new technology, including predictive coding.
