Canon's Office Support Advances RTO Strategy For Major Client
Senior Operations Manager Roger Harbour discusses how Canon implemented a number of innovative office solutions designed to advance the employee experience and streamline the flow of information.
Among the clients goals was to create a superior collaborative work environment that fosters innovation and welcomes employees as they return to the office. New initiatives to support employees were implemented, including Intelligent Lockers to enable secure, self-service storage and package delivery. Employees were given mobile device-enabled access, automated delivery notification, and item tracking. Canon also deployed a cloud-based mobile shipping application, enabling employees working from home to print out shipping labels and bring their packages to any courier. Finally, Canon provided workforce management services for in-office support staff for print, copy, hospitality, IT support, mailroom and facility management services needs.
As a result of these office support services, the client is experiencing increased employee productivity, reduced costs, and an improved workplace experience in the office and from home.
