Canon Business Process Services Releases New Report: “Leading a Future-Ready Business: Vision 2025”
NEW YORK (February 22, 2017)—Canon Business Process Services (Canon), a leading provider of managed services and technology has issued a new report, Leading a Future-Ready Business: Vision 2025.The four-part report offers a comprehensive view of cultural and technological trends that have the potential to drive significant shifts in today’s competitive business environment toward 2025.
“Executive leaders and their organizations may be tested in unprecedented ways during the next eight to ten years,” notes Joe Marciano, President and CEO of Canon Business Process Services. “Challenges potentially span a dramatic range from the impact of disruptive technologies to the dynamics of changing labor demographics. Our report provides insight into some of these trends so that enterprises can be better prepared to maintain their competitiveness, drive innovation and continuously improve in the days ahead.”
The four installments of Canon’s report include the following:
- The Digital Business Transformation focuses on how organizations are leveraging digital technologies, such as social, mobile, analytics and cloud to transform themselves into digital businesses. However, despite the fact that over half of all businesses are investing in digital technologies, only about a third are investing in technologies as part of an overall business strategy.
- Disruptive Technologies analyzes the technological innovations to which business leaders must adapt. The potential of cloud, mobile, Internet, analytics, robotic process automation, the Internet of Things, 3D print and other emerging technologies are reshaping markets and established organizations.
- Leading Continuous Change looks at how it is vital that leaders design strategies to deal with changes to the operational environment. A necessary requirement for rapid decision making will be data visibility: a facet that today is dramatically underutilized.
- Changing Talent and Workplace spotlights why the growing presence of a new generation of employees will bring different attitudes to the workplace. Greater flexibility, a blurring of professional and personal goals and tools for a more collaborative working environment are some of the common demands that leaders will encounter.
